Recent work includes The Testament of Ann Lee, directed by Mona Fastvold, in which he portrays Captain Smith opposite Amanda Seyfried. His screen credits also include the leading role of Sigge Sundström in the ZDF television film The Inspector and the Sea: From Happy Days, Christer Pettersson in Netflix's The Unlikely Murderer, and Ali Abbasi's Border.
Alongside screen work, Matti has experience in performance capture, motion capture and voice acting, including motion-capture roles in the video games Metro Awakening and Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Swedish-language dubbing for animated features such as Trolls, How to Train Your Dragon 2, and the Academy Award-winning Toy Story 3.
